4/7 Update

Hey everyone!

Yesterday we sent in a batch of 204 frames to Maker Nexus! That, along with previous batches and donations sent directly to hospitals, brings our total to 952!!

Our next delivery day will be Friday, 4/10. If you can drive your parts to Audrey’s home in Cupertino before 4pm on Friday and need Audrey’s address, shoot us an email. If you won’t have any parts printed by Friday, no worries at all since we’ll have future delivery dates.

If you’d like for someone to deliver your parts to Audrey’s home in Cupertino, please fill out this form. No need to send an email; just fill out the form. We currently don’t have any filament on hand, but some are on the way. If you’re running out of filament, fill out the same form so we can keep track of who needs it.

You might have heard that Apple is mobilizing to produce 1 million face shields per week. Since it isn’t clear whether Apple is only distributing to large hospitals, Maker Nexus will continue to fulfill their orders, many of which are from smaller clinics, homeless shelters, and hospices.

Also important: If you are willing/able to sew cloth masks or hospital scrubs, Maker Nexus is supplying them to homeless shelters. Here’s the link to the cloth mask wiki. Here’s the link to the hospital scrub wiki. The wikis have all the sewing instructions you need, including a signup form that should be filled out for MN to contact you about more details. If you want someone to deliver your sewn masks/scrubs, you are more than welcome to use our delivery system. Please spread the word about sewn masks/scrubs to anyone who might be interested!
