4/4 Update

Hey everyone!

Yesterday we sent in a batch of 292 frames to Maker Nexus! That, along with previous batches and donations sent directly to hospitals, brings our total to 748 :O!! We can never thank everyone enough for your continued efforts and generosity towards making this happen.

Our next delivery day will be Monday, 4/6(ENDED). If you can drive your parts to Audrey’s home in Cupertino before 4pm on Monday and need Audrey’s address, shoot us an email. If you won’t have any parts printed by Friday, no worries at all since we’ll have future delivery dates.

If you’d like for someone to deliver your parts to Audrey’s home in Cupertino, please fill out this form. No need to send an email; just fill out the form. We have a few rolls of 1kg PETG and ABS, as well as 3 5kg rolls of PETG coming in soon! If you’re running out of filament, fill out the same form so we can get some donated to you.

For volunteer drivers: on the delivery spreadsheet, we’ve added a column indicating whether someone requested filament. Audrey will have the filament out on her doorstep before 10:30am on Monday labeled with the name of the requester to whom the filament should be delivered.

Maker Nexus has released version 1. 6 of their face shield frame design. It is still compatible with all previously made parts, but has slightly larger diameter rounds in concave corners to help with sterilizing. If it’s more convenient for you, feel free to print out only the frame. Kai is printing only bottom reinforcements due to printer limitations, and she’s printed out A LOT.
